There are ample amount of hacking groups are there in on social platform specially Telegram, Insta, FB, Discord etc they tend to hack sites and share some portion of data as sample, so people who look for that database may contact them in private.

Coming back to your question, they share samples with a password just to recognize people by using their group/channel name as password. However, Most of the time shared files are in .csv or .zip/.7z/.rar/.gz file password is a normal English password, no hash or no in any encrypted form.

Only encryption password is there in mega.nz file as the platform has this feature, I hope it helps.
