If you're very newbie, just start with Python. Best way writing regularly and understanding basic.

in colleges for beginners java is usually the go to, then c++ is more advanced after that

I think you should start with .net or something c++ is not for beginners, you could hate the programming

Go with Java because C++ has become practcally unusable because of the too much libraries.

C > C++ > java
C would probably be easier to learn than C++ because C isnt object-oriented and once you know C youll be fine learning any language
